We are so good at being kind and compassionate and forgiving to other people. And yet, it's so hard for us to extend that same kindness and compassion to ourselves. Sometimes the way that we speak to ourselves can actually be considered ‘violent communication’ because it's so easy for us to beat ourselves up – to be a bully to ourselves.
